    Overview:

    The Aviation Market worldwide is growing with rising employment opportunities for the Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers. Airline fleets are growing as the number of travelers is on the increase. Statistics indicate that in the near future the aviation industry will have a high demand for Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers.

    IGRUA (AMTC) is approved by Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) India, to conduct B1.2 (Aero planes Piston) License program. This program is run through Regulation Part /CAR 147 (Basic) and follows approved Regulation Part / CAR 66 for the syllabus of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering and offered on a full-time semester basis.

    The duration of this program is 3 years distributed equally into six semesters and on completion of this program, the students will be awarded with Certificate of Recognition (C of R) which is recognized by DGCA (India). Above all, students will be able to apply for License after completing Practical Maintenance Experience (PME) and passing requisite modules of category B1(B1.2) and this adds uniqueness to the individual.

    Duration :

    Duration of the course is three years equally distributed into six semesters and offered on a full time basis. The complete syllabus is arranged to cover theory and practical training within 2400 hours for mechanical category B1 (B1.2) including 340 hours practical training in live Maintenance environment in engineering section of IGRUA
