Our Capabilities You Can Use

The Engineering Department in the Akademi is approved as a maintenance organization by the DGCA, India in Cat. “C”. We have well equipped workshops / facilities and technical expertise and are also capable of undertaking work of outside agencies as per our Capability List. The following work can be accomplished at our facilities:

  • Capacity Test and Servicing of Lead Acid Battery model G-35 & G-242 and Nickel Cadmium Battery model 40576.
  • Calibration of non-airborne AC / DC Meters used in various test benches and ground support equipments.
  • Hot Section Inspection of PT6A – 21 installed on King Air C-90A aircraft.
  • Bench Check / Calibration / Functional Check of Pitot-Static and Gyroscopic Instruments installed on King Air C-90A aircraft and aircraft similar to Trinidad TB-20 aircraft operated by the Akademi.
  • Bench Check of Auto Pilot Servos KS-177,178 &179 of model KAP 150 installed on aircraft similar to Trinidad TB-20 aircraft operated by the Akademi.
  • Weighment of aircraft with All UP Weight up to 5700 Kgs.
  • Non Destructive Testing of aircraft parts by MPI (Magnetic Particle Inspection) and FPI (Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection) methods.
  • Bench Check / Functional Check / FTD of Avionics equipments of King-Bendix make installed on King Air C-90A and aircraft similar to Trinidad TB-20.
